Winter 2016 - almost normal rain!

Feels like we have had almost the normal amount of rain this year ... even though we are still over 100mm behind our average (only 455mm so far this year - should be about 560) ... but much better than last year. Even so, many Jarrah trees are dying due to diseases and insect attacks.

Photos corresponding to these locations are shown below. In summary, there are lachenalia at #1 and #6 - not flowering yet.
#3 is a large infestation of pelargonium - may be good for a community weeding event.
Site #2 - Albucca/Ixia (not sure which) - coming up but not in flower yet. Lots of Banksia have fallen down here - may need to cut dead branches to get at the plants.
Site #4 - freesia scattered through area - not dense - spray or hand weed?
Site #7 - pigface infestation - do we remove it?
Remainder - freesias - not flowering yet.
