Rain is coming - at last!
I can't remember waiting so long for the rain to come - it has been such a long period of fine sunny days - the bushland is hanging out for rain.
John and I spent the morning removing veldgrass. Came across some scratchings that may be small animals - marsupials?

Indian summer
The long warm autumn is continuing ... beautiful days, cool nights, and no rain ... the weeds such as veldgrass are making use of dew to start growing ... others are just waiting.
John and I continued removing veldgrass. Dorothy joined us later on.
